Celebrating 60 Years of Excellence, Innovation and Impact


In 2026, the CUHK Graduate School proudly celebrates its 60th Anniversary, a significant milestone for both the University and postgraduate education in Hong Kong. Established as the first Graduate School in Hong Kong, the School has played a pivotal role in advancing postgraduate education and research while nurturing generations of scholars, researchers, and professionals around the world.

To commemorate this important occasion, the Graduate School invites our alumni, students, and faculty members with association/encounters with the Graduate School to share their cherished CUHK postgraduate memories. Whether it is a memorable classroom experience, an inspiring conversation with a supervisor, lifelong friendships formed on campus, research milestones, or other unforgettable moments, we would love to hear your story.
 

How to Participate:

Share your CUHK Graduate School memories by submitting:
•    Testimonial(s), each contains at most 150 words in English; and/or
•    Memorable photograph(s) related to your experience with CUHK postgraduate studies (Also see point 2 below).

Please submit your entries via the online submission form.

Submission Deadline: 30 September 2026 (Thu)

Selected stories and photos will be featured on:
•    The CUHK Graduate School 60th Anniversary Website; 
•    A commemorative anniversary video; or
•    A special anniversary exhibition at the CUHK History Gallery

Join us in celebrating six decades of excellence and inspiring future generations of postgraduate students.
 

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Participants may submit more than one testimonial and/or a maximum of 5 photographs.
  2. By participating in the campaign, participants warrant that all submitted photographs are original and do not infringe upon the rights of any third party. Where necessary, participants are responsible for obtaining all required permissions from identifiable individuals and other relevant parties for the publication and use of the submitted materials.
  3. Should any submitted stories or photographs be selected for publication on the Graduate School’s communication channels, the CUHK Graduate School will contact the participant directly for follow-up arrangements. Shortlisted participants may be required to provide valid identification or supporting documentation for verification purposes.
  4. By participating in the campaign, participants grant the CUHK Graduate School the right to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and otherwise use the submitted materials, in whole or in part, across any promotional channels. Submitted testimonials and/or the replica of the photographs will become part of the historical collection jointly owned by the CUHK Graduate School and the CUHK History Gallery. This authorisation is perpetual and no compensation will be provided.
  5. The CUHK Graduate School reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  6. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the CUHK Graduate School shall be final and binding.
