The award certificate is an important document. Please keep it in a safe place after collection. We regret that any award certificates uncollected for SEVEN years from the award year will be destroyed without further notification.
Collection of Uncollected Award Certificates (Hardcopy)
Starting from 2025, the University will arrange to dispose uncollected certificates seven years after the degrees are awarded. The seven-year retention period will also apply to the award years from 2018 -2023.
For the award year 2017 and before, a one-time exercise has been arranged for uncollected award certificates for graduates of postgraduate programmes:

Any uncollected certificates will be securely disposed of after the retention period.
If you miss the said collection period, you may request for a replacement copy, which will be printed following the protocol as stipulated in the Replacement of Graduate Certificates webpage.
