The English Language Proficiency Requirement is as follows:

1. possess a pass grade in English in one of the following examinations: Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (AS Level), Hong Kong Higher Level Examination, CUHK Matriculation Examination, General Certificate of Education A-Level/ AS-Level; or

2. achieve Level 4 or above in the English subject of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)  examination; or

3. have a degree from a university in Hong Kong or have taken a degree programme of which the medium of instruction was English; or

4. submit a minimum TOEFL score of 79 of 120 / 4.5 of 6 (internet-based/Home Edition); or a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 (Test Centre based/Online).
