• possess a pass grade in English in one of the following examinations:
  o Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination. (AS Level);
  o Hong Kong Higher Level Examination;
  o CUHK Matriculation Examination;
  o General Certificate of Education A-Level / AS-Level; or
• achieve Level 4 or above in the English Language subject of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination; or
• have a degree from a university in Hong Kong or an English speaking country; or
• submit one of the following original score reports/certificates for assessment by the programmes concerned:
  o TOEFL* (550 Paper-based; 213 computer-based; and 79 internet-based);
  o IELTS* (Academic) (Band 6.5);
  o GMAT (Verbal) (Band 21); or
      (*TOEFL and IELTS are considered valid for two years from the test date.)
• have obtained a recognized professional qualification awarded in Hong Kong or an English speaking country; or
• be exceptionally admitted upon full justification.

Those who expect to obtain a Bachelor's degree in the current academic year may also apply for admission. Some programmes may require applicants to have full-time working experience. Please refer to the programme information for details.

Applicants with degrees awarded by overseas universities by distance learning or by completing a curriculum of short duration may be required to provide assessment report from the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualification (HKCAAVQ) on the level of qualification obtained.
